Further injuries

I was going to post a picture of my feet this morning, but I thought better of it. I reported yesterday that I had tripped up a small step from the bedroom to the bathroom and fallen hurting my right big toe. So last night when I got up I put on the light and successfully negotiated the step. However this morning when I got up to put on the immersion for a bath I forgot it and fell down again! So now my left big tow is feeling very sorry for itself. Fortunately no other serious injuries, but I am concern about surviving one more night here. It is a lovely cottage and the holiday has been marred only by the silky step into the bedroom. Hmm.

Dear Jane Progress

Sorry this isn't the best photograph but as I have already said the lighting here in my holiday cottage is not brilliant and I forgot to get a better one during daylight.
Anyway, you can see that Row D has been attached and today I have progressing with Row E blocks. I will update on their progress in the morning.

Crossed swords

Well I certainly was crossed with this one. It was going along absolutely fine until I put the cross bars in and found lining up the two shorter bars almost impossible. Still don't quite know why and now it isn't perfect..

Snow Crystal

The sewing continues..

Well, I am spending a whole week in North Wales and all I have planned is a bit of walking with the dog and sewing. Bliss.
No one to bother me and the the little cottage I am renting is in the middle of nowhere overlooking the Snowdonia National Park. Having to make an effort to visit the real work from time to time but the desire to see gets me back home quite quickly. These next few blocks are the last of Row D.
